Please tell me that you already watch this show and that you don't need me to tell you how amazing it is!! But in case you don't, here is a review!
Let's start at the beginning. American Horror Story started last year and is now in its second season. It came from the incredible mind of Ryan Murphy (Glee, Nip/Tuck, The New Normal) and stars amazing actors like Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto and Evan Peters. AHS is a horror series that will at times terrify you, disgust you and shock you. If you are not a fan of horror movies, you probably won't like it, but if you love them (like me!) you will definitely be glued to your TVs waiting for the new episode each week.
Each season of AHS is a different story with different characters. The first season was about a family that moves to a new (but unfortunately haunted) house after the wife finds her husband cheating on her and suffers a miscarriage. I am not going to go into too much detail, cause I don't want to spoil it for you, but go and watch the pilot asap! The second season takes place in the 60s at a mental institution run by a nun and a monsignor (kind of like a priest but with more authority). The inmates might be crazy or not, guilty of their crimes or not. Nobody knows! The people running the institution might be good or not, honest or not, crazy or not. Nobody knows as well!
Personally I find season 2 much better, but that may be due to the fact that I have no clue what will happen in the end. One thing you are sure to expect with AHS is twists. Nothing is as it seems and everyone is guilty until proven otherwise. Every single episode is so full of plot and character development and will leave you wanting more.
The actors are very talented (Jessica Lange, I am looking at you!) and perfectly fit for their roles. Some people find it confusing that some of the actors came back for season 2 in different characters than the ones they originally portrayed, but I couldn't care less! The cast is great and I am more than happy to see them in different roles.
And also, how cool are these posters?
All in all, GO WATCH AMERICAN HORROR STORY! You can thank me later! :p

DeleteI love AHS! The first series I see as the better, I got so into it, I think I ended up watching it on my laptop within a few days!! The second series is taking me a while to get into, I find it weird as its like a whole different show but with the same people in it! Either way I still love Even Peters!
